In Choix des Plus Belles Fleurs (Redouté's Finest Flowers) this illustration is labelled with the French name ‘Rosier Pompon’ and the botanical name ‘Rosa Pomponia’ It is thought to be a dwarf sport of the Cabbage Rose known as R.centifolia ‘De Meaux’ which Redouté also illustrated in Les Roses.
