At left; picture of the Cabbage Rose variety, R. centifolia ‘Foliacée’, painted by Pierre-Joseph Redouté, portrait 15 out of 17, Choix des Plus Belles Fleurs (1827-33)

This illustration appears in Choix des Plus Belles Fleurs (Redouté's Finest Flowers), labelled ‘Rosier à cents feuilles, foliacée’

Like a couple of the other prints that appear in Choix, the engraving for this print appears to have been based on an original watercolour painting that first appeared in Les Roses. In this case it’s the Cabbage Rose, R. centifolia ‘Foliacée’ that is pictured in Volume II. This engraving has two rosebuds and a few leaves and sepals less than the one in Les Roses. Other than that it appears identical.
